The Right Number of Times to Pray

 The Lord's Prayer

"Pray without ceasing; give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. (1 Thessalonians 5:17-18)"

Some religions have rules on how many times one should pray. David, as per his Jewish faith prayed faithfully three times a day. “Now when Daniel learned that the decree had been published, he went home to his upstairs room where the windows opened toward Jerusalem. Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before." (Daniel 6:10). He said in Psalm 55:17, "Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice."
Jesus showed his disciples how to pray sincerely and earnestly to God. He even gave us the model prayer; “The Lord’s prayer”. (Matthew 6:9–13, Luke 11:2–4). He taught that we should pray for others, even those who wrong us, “But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you” (Matthew 5:44).

Paul teaches us to pray at all times and in every circumstance, "Pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. (1 Thessalonians 5:17-18.

Cool "When asked how much time he spent in prayer, George Muller's reply was, "Hours every day. But I live in the spirit of prayer. I pray as I walk and when I lie down and when I arise. And the answers are always coming."  Source Unknown
