The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places

Happy Dog

"LORD, you have assigned me my portion and my cup; you have made my lot secure. The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance. I will praise the LORD, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me. I have set the LORD always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken." -Psalm 16:5-8

I praise the Lord to be living in a time like this. The word of God got to me and I received salvation. I have freedom to worship and fellowship. I can read so I can consult my bible at any time, and seek information from so many places including the internet. I do not need a priest to pray or sacrifice for me: I can do that direct through my savior – I can enter the Holy of Holies – the curtain was rendered when Jesus died.

How has the Lord made your life secure? Which boundaries lines have fallen making you free to venture where it was not possible before? Let us thank God for all the privileges., and pray for the liberation of everybody else.

"Peace comes when there is no cloud between us and God. Peace is the consequence of forgiveness, God's removal of that which obscures His face and so breaks union with Him. The happy sequence culminating in fellowship with God is penitence, pardon, and peace -- the first we offer, the second we accept, and the third we inherit." -Charles H. Brent
