Dare to dream big
by Shandha Woodard

"When you ask God to do something, don't ask timidly; put your whole heart into it"  ( Marie T Freeman )

"You should have struck the ground five or six times" (2 Kings 13:19 N.I.V)

What's wrong with having big dreams? Or what's the problem with desiring things other than the norm? The answer to both of those questions is absolutely nothing. In fact God wants our dreams and desires to exceed that of our tiny brains.

In 2 Kings 13:18&19 it is very easy to see that Elisha, the prophet also wanted to see big dreams, hopes and/ or desires come to pass. Elisha had hoped that King Jehoash was in pursuit of this as well. But as we all know King Jehoash was driven by fear and not faith in his attempt to seek divine refuge from Israel. Unfortunately, this is the same approach that most of use when we go forth to ask God for anything. What a travesty that is because the Bible has made it clear that God hasn't given us a spirit of timidness (2 Timothy 1:7).

When you go to your secret place to make your request known keep in mind that our Lord is great and is LIMITLESS in power.
