The sights you see will drive you mad

Like a cyclone coming at you

“You will go mad because of all the tragedy you see around you. “ (Deuteronomy 28:34 N.L.T)

Oh the terrible things we see; hordes killed in inter ethnic tension: men, women and children burnt to death inside their houses; grenades hurled into churches as people worship; doctors and teachers on strike; Members of Parliament exorbitantly increasing their salaries while the population starves; road accidents claiming yet another young and promising life; daylight armed robberies in people’s residences;…. It is enough to drive one mad. You do not want to hear of any more calamity, or tyranny. So much tragedy visited upon us due to failure to keep God’s commandments; no love for God or consideration for fellow man.

For those who believe in the Lord however, all is not lost. We still wait on the Lord’s deliverance. He is in total control and he alone knows the future. He will save us and make everything right in due time and give us the strength to endure all. “For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways “(Psalm 91:11)
