By GodsChild

You’re either

Black or white or

Black or black or

Black

Or white

Taking a glimpse of you at first sight

We see you shining His light

But then once out of the line of sight

You turn to a queen of the night

N ot caring for what is upright

You’re so uptight

Suddenly you overwrite

Overnight

You betray the sacred wedding night

You say it’s yours to do with it your own right

And poof! There goes all the sweetness and light.

You’re either

Black or white or

Black or black or

Black

Or white

Are you part of the food chain?

Afraid to go against the grain

Are you only part of the Father’s advertising campaign?

Not caring to go under the Carpenter’s plane

Forfeiting your mansion that’s better than a castle in Spain

Don’t you know you’re a saint

A sinner you no longer aint,

You are chosen, given knowledge domain

Not here to entertain

But to be the Anchor chain

From sin to refrain,

In Christ alone to remain

Giving Him all the glory

Worshipping Him only

You’re either

Black or white or

Black or black or

Black

Or white

Give up your status quo

And have the desire to know

This Holy Ghost

Who holds a command post

He will have you engrossed

His name is Jesus Christ

Be clothed in His electric glow

Covered from head to toe

Illuminate the

Appetite to Ignite and Recite

Tonight

Will you,

Hide under His golden glow

But once you see your wealth grow

You deny Him on the third cock crow?

You don’t want to be sign posts

Showing everyone the direction to the King of Hosts

This way to the King of Glory, you say

Yet that is the end of your story

He who died on the cross

Remember that He is the Boss.

You’re either Black or White.

(I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. Revelation 3:15-17)
