Girl on mountain

As our days slip away, it becomes increasingly urgent for all to know that the time is coming, perhaps sooner rather than later, when each member of the human race will kneel before Almighty God and must declare Jesus Christ as Lord over all. Are you ready for that day?

For redeemed Bible believers who have met Him at the foot of the cross and know Him personally as Savior and Master of their life, that face-to-face meeting will be one of unimaginable joy, praise and thanksgiving.

But, for those who had ignored Him, or for those who had only paid lip service to Him, that upcoming, inevitable meeting will strike bone-chilling fear in their heart when they realize who they had rejected. Yes, even they will finally kneel before the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, but sadly, it will be too late for them. I have many friends and family who are among those who do not yet know Him as the Savior and the Lord of their life. My prayers go out for them.

In recent years, the Lord has given me a burden of passion for shouting the saving gospel from the rooftops while there is still time. I know that the Lord has called me to share His Word in a very special way to many who are searching for His Truth...but have been unable to find it because they are looking in the wrong places, or, perhaps they are not looking at all.

I am so thankful that from the very moment we reach out to God in forgiveness and repentance...humbly acknowledging that Jesus is Lord...and deliberately inviting Him into our life, then, He will reside within us forever. In other words, the moment we reach out by faith alone to receive His gift of salvation, we have the promises from Scripture that He is ours, and we are His...no matter what!

Scripture promises that at the moment of our salvation...
* The Holy Spirit is sealed within us the instant we become a born again child of God.
* Then, as sons and daughters of the most-high God, we become heirs to His kingdom forever.
* He will never leave us or forsake us.
* Although we will often stray like sheep, He will find us and gently lead us back to Him.
* The penalty for all of our past, present, and future sins and shortcomings will have been paid in full by Jesus' sacrifice on the cross...never more to be remembered.

"Dear Lord, I'm so thankful for Your promises because I often stumble in my daily walk with You. I confess there are many mornings when my waking thoughts are not on You in praise and thanksgiving. Hours will go by, and yes, even days might pass by when I don't set aside quiet time as a priority to be fed through Your written Word, or pour out my heart in prayer to You. Many are the times when my thoughts, words, or actions are not pleasing or honoring to You. Oh Lord, forgive me for my shortcomings that result from being preoccupied with the busyness of life. I love You, I have no friend like You, and I long to follow in Your footsteps as You lead the way. Help me to keep my eyes on You above all else. Take my hand, Precious Lord, and hold on tight...for You are my all in all. Thank You, Jesus...in Your Name I pray. Amen!"

Revelation 22:17 KJV
And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

In that final plea from Scripture, God compassionately declares, "Your spiritual thirst is crying out, 'I want to be satisfied.' Believe in Me; come to Me and drink freely of the Living Water. Whosoever will...please come!"

He is patiently waiting to hear from you. Choose to drink of His life-giving Water today!

Praise God for His promises! I am only a sinner saved by grace...and am humbled and so thankful to be a child of the King. You, too, can be a heaven-bound son or daughter of the most-high God for all of eternity...just as He has promised!

However, the choice is yours...and the time left for choosing might be shorter than you think.

During retirement, my prayer is that I might serve the Lord by sharing the Gospel through my writing. As the Lord leads, my work will inform, challenge and encourage. I also enjoy Biblical theme woodcarving, Bible studies and Christian music. Watch, pray and keep looking up!
