Each New Day is a Fresh Start

“The unfailing love of the LORD never ends! By his mercies we have been kept from complete destruction. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each day. I say to myself, "The LORD is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!" (Lamentations 3:22-24 NASB)

Every minute, every hour and every day we are given to live is a chance for us to start afresh.

It is a chance to show gratitude to God and other people for all the good that has come into our lives.

It is a chance for repentance of our sins and accepting God’s forgiveness, and a chance to forgive others for any wrong they have done.

It is a chance to rekindle love, faith, hope, enjoyment and appreciation of life.

It is a chance to resist with power and courage any temptations that come your way, and strength to go through every trial.

It is a chance to rekindle our relationships and infuse love, joy, trust, mutual respect and submission.

It is a chance to work harder, smarter, in a new field, in a new hobby or to help others.

It is a chance to make a better choice covering everything you do; for a health mind, body or soul, for a healthy financial status, and for healthy relationships.

It is a chance to serve the Lord. ” But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD."
