Fleeing from Potipher’s Wife

Running

"She caught him by his cloak and said, "Come to bed with me!" But he left his cloak in her hand and ran out of the house." Genesis 39:12 N.I.V)

To run away is not always cowardly. It takes real strength to flee from some things like lust; because they consume you.  This is what Joseph did. When Potiphers wife approached him, he said”How could I do such a wicked thing and sin against God?” (Genesis 39:7)  “…he fled and got out of the house” Genesis 39:12)

Are you in a situation liker Joseph’s where sin threatens to engulf you? Flee. There are many “Potipher’s wives” looking to tempt you and consume you.

Life is one big road with lots of signs. So, when you are riding through the ruts don't complicate your mind. Flee from hate, mischief and jealousy. Don't bury your thoughts; put your vision to reality. Wake Up and Live!   - Bob Marley
