Perfect Gifts from Heaven

“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows”. James 1:17

Today let us celebrate all that the Lord has graciously given us. He is the source of all good things. The spiritual gifts of knowledge, purity, happiness, and peace are good and perfect and can be enjoyed freely.  Even material riches that come from the Lord can be enjoyed without any anxiety or distress that is attendant to any ill gotten gains.  They are good and perfect gifts which can be freely enjoyed in peace.   They are not tainted by darkness and are of the light. “The blessing of the LORD makes rich, and he adds no sorrow with it.” Proverbs 10:11.
