”And the Lord answered me: "Write the vision; make it plain on tablets,so he may run who reads it. For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end and it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay. "Behold, his soul is puffed up; it is not upright within him, but the righteous shall live by his faith” (Habakkuk 2:1-4 ESV)

Ever been prideful? Or so proud you only trust in yourself? Pride is a dangerous thing. It can lead you down wrong roads in your life.

Ever went down a dark alley? Who can you trust then? Our text says the just or righteous shall live by his faith. The just will be preserved through his faithfulness to God - that is God's message through Habakkuk. Faith is a way of life. It's a pattern of life we live by. Keep your faith in God and then be declared righteous by God.

Prayer: Lord, may I always keep my faith in you no matter what life takes. It is only You that I can trust fully. I know that I am secured in Your hands.
