A Look into the Mirror of Judgment

Woman in the mirror

“You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.” Ro 2:1

Believe it or not, it has been proved by psychologists that you possess the characteristics that annoy you most in other people. The reason you may not be aware of the fact is that they are repressed. They are items in your character that we do not want to own up to. Luke 6:42 says, “How can you say to your brother, 'Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,' when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.” So if you get irritated by another person’s behavior, it is a good indicator of what you need to improve within yourself. If you ask the Lord, he can help you improve your character. “See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” Psalm 139:24.  He will help you to grow more like him. “And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” 2Corinthians 3:18
