Appreciating God Attracts Blessings

"Then he said to him, "Rise and go; your faith has made you well.” Luke 17:19 N.I.V

Jesus healed ten men with leprosy, but only one returned to give thanks to Jesus,” praising God in a loud voice” (Luke 17:18.) Many people take God’s blessings for granted. Do you give praise and glory to God for all that you have received? You enjoy your health and everything else by God’s grace.

Thanksgiving reveals an attitude of great expectancy from God. God does not only work on one level – the physical. He also works on healing the spirit and other aspects of your life in accordance to your faith. The Samaritan leper in his faith recognized Jesus as a greater priest, and while the other lepers went on to shows themselves to the earthly priests, he threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him. He was blessed with total healing of his body, mind, and soul.

"Appreciation is the highest form of prayer, for it acknowledges the presence of good wherever you shine the light of your thankful thoughts."
