Youthful Praise and Worship

"Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, 'I find no pleasure in them'.” Ecclesiastes 12:1

The youth are at the prime of their life; physically. They are strong and beautiful. However many are very weak spiritually because they think of themselves as invincible and concentrate on the fun things of life. Many old people on the other hand, as they gradually lose their strength and physical beauty, are filled with spiritual wisdom garnered from all their experiences. They are beautiful spiritually but wish they could have the physical strength to serve the Lord better, but alas, it is a question of the spirit is willing but the body will not cooperate; it gets exhausted with little exertion. How great it would be to put the brain of the experienced into the body of the young and vibrant!

Whatever period of life we are going through, let us serve the Lord. Let us put our gifts of youthful vigor and wisdom to work in praising and worshiping God and pulling others to Him. Then we will all have the true beauty and strength that will last forever.
