Two Hearts for God - Priscilla and Aquila

Interlaced love

Greet Priscilla and Aquila, my co-workers in Christ Jesus. They risked their lives for me. Not only I but all the churches of the Gentiles are grateful to them.~ Romans 16:3-4 (N.I.V.)

True love takes three; a loving couple and God at the centre of their relationship.

Priscilla and Aquila are the most famous couple in the Bible where they are always mentioned together. Theirs was a relationship based on mutual love and respect. In their marriage, work, and ministry, they were always mentioned together. They moved from place to place together - wherever their work took them, and were fellow tent makers with Paul. Wherever they made their home, it became a haven of warmth and encouragement, and a centre of worship and training for Christians. Their hospitality led many people to know the fullness of Christ. This included Apollos, a powerful and influential preacher whom they mentored.

Priscilla and Aquila's love radiated to others in the most excellent way.

Is God at the centre of your relationships? If He is not, it is not real love. Love should be pure, true and considerate of other people, and especially your spouse. Let the love of God flow in your heart today.
