Success Will Come

“For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, It will not tarry “Habakkuk 2:3 NKJV

The Messiah who had been prophesied about for centuries came; at God’s time. And He will come back for us; in the fullness of time. Ours is to live our lives righteously in accordance with his word and to always be ready for Him. Only God knows the hour.

In our earthly pursuits, sometimes we lose patience and want to hurry things up. Some are overcome with jealousy and envy of those who have succeeded where they have not. They use hook and crook to get by, justifying themselves in thinking that the end justifies the means. They fail to think about the Lord who sees everything and is the eternal judge.

In the search for quick promotion, some step on others, even giving false witness.

Some people depend on corrupt deals, immorality and other vices for faster prosperity. We should never compromise our integrity and should ensure that our conscience is always clear. There is no lasting joy in ill gotten positions of wealth and power. We could gain the whole world and lose our souls.

What we should do in furtherance of our goals is to pursue them relentlessly and persistently; not just doing enough to get by, but aiming always for excellence. People are bound to notice. And with time things change and other opportunities present themselves. Let us trust God in everything we do. He will deliver, at the appointed time.

Wise Quote:"He has achieved success who has lived well, laughed often and loved much; who has gained the respect of intelligent men and the love of little children; who has filled his niche and accomplished his task; who has left the world better than he found it, whether by an improved poppy, a perfect poem, or a rescued soul; who has never lacked appreciation of earth's beauty or failed to express it; who has always looked for the best in others and given them the best he had; whose life was an inspiration; whose memory a benediction".  ~Bessie Stanley, 1905
