Things may not be going so well for you right now.  With all the challenges surrounding the COVID 19 pandemic  you may be feeling discouraged.

However, there is plenty of good happening if you just stop and think about it.

First, the best thing going for you right now is that you woke up this morning. It is not a given for everybody.

This is the day that the Lord has made. Rejoice and be glad in it. “Morning by morning he wakens me, and opens my understanding to His will (Psalm 118:24). And what is God's will for your life? “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10

A strong sense of meaning for your life and your God given purpose is a great driver for having hope. The biblical definition of hope is the confident expectation that good things will happen in the future because God is faithful. As Lamentations 3:22-23 says, “ The LORD’S loving kindnesses indeed never cease, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness”.

This living hope gives us courage, endurance, joy and peace and motivates us to seize opportunities provided by each new day.
