Tend Your Lovely Garden While You Can

Flower Garden

"The one who offers thanksgiving as his sacrifice glorifies me; to one who orders his way rightly I will show the salvation of God!” (Psalm 50:23 E.S.V)

Are you blind to how important the people in your life are? Your immediate family,  relatives, friends, co-workers, and  neighbors.

Do you ever stop to appreciate them: thank and encourage them. Or are you constantly complaining about their many short comings? Take time to day to reflect on how rich they have made your life and be thankful.

What about the other things you are blessed with? Do you appreciate what you do have, or are you always pining for more without making full use of what you already have? "Realize this moment that you have more than enough. It is okay to have dreams. It is okay to aspire to grow, to learn to evolve, and to achieve big things. But it is important to celebrate yourself, to celebrate your accomplishments, to celebrate the present moment and celebrate your life. With gratitude comes happiness and with happiness comes gratitude." Luminah Savinc, PurposeFairy.com

It has been scientifically proven that gratitude has the strongest link to mental well being than any other character trait. It gives a physical energy boost, makes one less anxious,  helps in attaining higher emotional intelligence, fosters a more forgiving attitude, keeps one feeling socially connected, and helps in getting  better sleep. It boosts health and happiness.

What people and things are in your garden of life? Give thanks!

Cool"Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues. It is the mother of all virtues". Cicero
