Ecclesiastes in Full Bloom
By Jaz Poet

Bloom

When the days run together
seamless and aging
and there's no cognizance
of the
markings of time
to decipher between
sun and moon

When hours
minutes
seconds
are drained
of their colors
and the seasons blur

When I can no longer
find validation
in my toil
under the sun

Pleasure
proves to be fickle
and I can't
put down roots
in its' instability

There is my Lord
Bold
Brilliant
Bright
Emblazoned
with my imprint
in His bosom
to remind me
of His blood
that courses
through my soul
to give me purpose
to give me passion

To
Give
Me
Life.

"Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind. (Ecclesiastes 12:13 N.I.V)

Cool"Fame is a vapor, popularity an accident, riches take wing, and only character endures".Horace Greeley, American journalist and educator (1811-1872)
