Impossible!

How can we hope to teach children God’s ways with all the temptations they face in today’s world? How can we tame their rebellious ways when the church is not important to them and they have no respect for their elders?

Is it impossible for people to be cured of drug abuse and other addictions? What do you do when repeated attempts at rehabilitation fails?

Is it impossible for people to stay sexually pure and faithful?

What do you do when the doctor says there is no hope, that it is just a matter of time?

Imagine your own "impossible" situation. You may not see a solution or a way out. Perhaps your needs are great, and you feel helpless and hopeless. You cannot even picture things changing. You may even feel like there's no use praying about it.

I know it is not easy to let go of our own preconceived ideas and knowledge of how this world operates, but to truly achieve peace in our hearts we must rely on God's power. Do not place your hopes on science, the government or others: God is greater and all powerful.

It is very hopeless without the power of God. As the Bible says, nothing is impossible with God. “Jesus looked at them intently and said, "Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible." (Matthew 19:26 N.L.T)
