Do You Qualify as God’s Temple?

“I was given a reed like a measuring rod and was told, “Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, with its worshipers. Revelation 11:1 NIV

The Bible says we are the Temple of the Lord. “Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?” 1 Corinthians 3:16. But what is the extent of the Temple in you? When God measures the Temple, he measures the true weight of your faith and deeds. Is it possible that you are not the temple but the outside court? He says, “But exclude the outer court;^B)"> do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles. They will trample on the holy city^D)"> for 42 months.^E)">” Revelation 11:2.

Could you just be trampling and polluting the temple with sacrifices which are not acceptable to God? Does your faith really stand up to the testing in the real world? Is the Lord glorified in your actions and utterances or do you show yourself off as a hypocrite? Clean up your house and bring him your pure heart, filled with the love of God and your fellow men. “Stop bringing me your meaningless gifts; the incense of your offerings disgusts me! As for your celebrations of the new moon and the Sabbath and your special days for fasting--they are all sinful and false. I want no more of your pious meetings. Isaiah 1:13
