Yours are the Physical Hands Jesus Depends on

“In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven”. (Matthew 5:16 N.I.V)

Do you have talents, skills and other resources that you are not using? Do you have spiritual gifts, treasures, insights and lessons learned that could be used to help, comfort, and inspire others? You need to use them. Do not bury them like the unfaithful servant who buried his talent. They were not given for you to hoard but as an instrument of humble, selfless, sacrificial service for the cause of Christ. Yes, any work you do may be criticized and misjudged just as Jesus’ work on earth was, but he will support you to be like him: willing to work for excellence without becoming proud, to withstand criticism without becoming bitter, to be misjudged without becoming defensive, and to withstand suffering without succumbing to self pity. May the Lord help you to faithfully walk in his footsteps!
