The Challenge
By Tenielle Cook

anger

“And the Lord said to Cain, Why are you angry? And why do you look sad and depressed and dejected? If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin crouches at your door; its desire is for you, but you must master it." (Genesis 4:6 -7, AMP)

The older I get the more I realize that my choices have real consequences. Often times, when the word "consequence" is heard a natural reaction is to assume that the consequence is negative; however, this is not always the case. The realization is that a choice has relative consequences either positive or negative. In summary, responsibility is accompanied with making choices because with each choice there is a return.
7 If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin crouches at your door; its desire is for you, but you must master it." (Genesis 4:6-7, Amplified Bible)
The beginning of Cain and Abel's lives are recorded in Genesis, Chapter Four; furthermore, scripture describes their occupation and character. Today, their lives continue to direct our attention to examine the way by which we worship and serve God in our daily lives because "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth." (John 4:24, New King James Version). Now, that true worship has been outlined for all of those who believe we can walk in victory through Jesus Christ both in word and deed!

Cool “How much more grievous are the consequences of anger than the causes of it”. Marcus Aurelius
