The Last Supper

Leonardo da Vinci’s scrapbook is worth more than US$30 million. Imagine that; and it is full of unfinished drawings! Most people cannot understand these works of genius and would not appreciate them even if it was offered free to them. They do not understand its value. One of his most famous paintings is the “Last Supper” “And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.”Luke 22:19. One of his great quotes on life is, "It is hard to have patience with people who say "There is no death" or "Death doesn't matter." There is death. And whatever is matters. And whatever happens has consequences, and it and they are irrevocable and irreversible. You might as well say that birth doesn't matter."

The salvation offered by Jesus Christ is worth inestimably more than Leonardo’s scrapbook. It comes free and many do not understand that it is priceless beyond measure. They do not understand the value it would add to their lives. Do you? “‘Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat down on them,’ nor any scorching heat. For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; ‘he will lead them to springs of living water.” ‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”Revelation 7:16-17.
