Take it By Force

By Rick L King

Butterfly sucks nectar

“From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has suffereth violence and the violent take it by force”. (Mathew 11:12 K.J.V)

Are you facing insurmountable obstacles? Has God told you things that He was going to do yet no matter where you turn you seem to run into brick walls? For those of you that have spiritual ears you need to hear this word.
The Holy Spirit told me years ago that the time was coming that things would not just be dropped into our lap. He told me that unless we take things in the spirit by force that we would not get the promises. I believe that we are in those times.
I have faced opposition on every side. No matter what I have prayed and believed for it has seemed that things have just gone the opposite way. I have felt like I am at the Red Sea looking across knowing what is over there yet no matter what I have done or not done I have been unable to cross over. I have questioned my praying whether or not it was from the Lord as I have seen so many people struggling and hurting. Have you ever been is this place?
The Bible tells us that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. He said that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against principalities, powers, and rulers of darkness. Our fight is spiritual. We cannot though we have tried to use carnal weapons against spiritual enemies. This will never work. It was not designed by God to work. If we are going to win, then we must fight God's way. We must get into the spirit. The enemy has bombarded us with all kinds of things to get our focus off of what we should be focusing upon. We must get our eyes back on the Lord and get into intercession. It does not matter how we feel or what we see. We must do what we know is right if we are going to be victorious. We are told in Jude 1:20, “But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost”
I do not want to get into a theological debate here. Those that pray in the Spirit know what I mean as they have experienced this and have seen what God will do as we do this. We are told in: Romans 8:26, “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered” and Romans 8:27, “And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God”.
Romans 8:34 says, “Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us”. Jesus is the intercessor. Do we think that He just does this sitting up in Heaven at the right hand of God? If you are saved and filled with the Holy Spirit, Jesus intercedes through you by the Holy Spirit. Unless we pray in the spirit then the Holy Spirit language does not come forth through us. I have found this to be true for me.
More often than not, I find the Holy Spirit will take over my praying as I pray in the spirit. I find a release in my spirit and know all is well. Unless I give the Holy Spirit permission He rarely does this through me. God wants our willingness and permission to be used. Unlike the devil that wants to control us.

So bottom line. Do you want to possess your land? If you do then it is time to take it by force. It is time to tell the devil what he can and cannot do. It is time that we allowed the Holy Spirit to operate in and through us. We are not going to get the promises any other way.

Cool“Evil itself may be relentless. I will grant you that, but love is relentless too. Friendship is a relentless force. Family is a relentless force. Faith is relentless force. The human spirit is relentless, and the human heart outlasts - and can defeat - even the most relentless force of all, which is time.” Dean Koontz

I am a 63 year old Born-Again spirit filled Christian, that has been saved for 30 years. Jesus found me when I was suicidal. I learned real quickly that I was powerless to be in control of my life, so I let Jesus take over. He has chosen me to be a warrior for Him. WE win, if we fight His way.
