“Pass through the gates, Prepare the way for the people. Build up, build up the highway Remove the stones. Raise a banner for the nations. The Lord has made proclamation to the ends of the earth: Say to the daughters of Zion, See, your Saviour comes! See this reward is with him, and his recompense accompanies him. They will be called the Holy People, The Redeemed of the Lord: And you will be called Sought After, The City No Longer Deserted.  “Isaiah 62:10-12

Pastor Cathy Kiuna

What makes a woman of distinction?

It is a woman who is highly respected, somebody who believes in herself and her worth. It is a woman who is different and has distinguished herself from others often by rising above expectations given societal limitations. It is someone who is dedicated to achieve her maximum potential and to help others do the same. It is a woman like Reverend Kathy Kiuna of Jubilee Christian Church, a relentless propagator of women empowerment within the confines of Christian values.

Reverend Kiuna’s mission is to raise the standards among women so that they can be the best they can be in their homes, work places, and in every sphere of their ives. She emphasizes real women issues such as health, self esteem, insecurity, among many other issues. She hosts Woman of Zion Meetings every last Saturday of the month. According to her website, the mission of this ministry is to “Raise the Standard among women” given that the woman of Africa has been criticized, ridiculed and looked down upon. They need to understand that they are not secondary and they matter.

Cathy is a powerful inspirational preacher and gospel singer with several recordings to her name.. She excels at leading praise and worship. She has also authored various books including “A woman Without Limits” and co-authored others with her husband and who is also the senior pastor at Jubilee Christian Church.
