Our dear heavenly father, we thank you for the gift of love between ...... and ........ which has culminated into this joyful celebration of their marriage covenant.  We pray that their marriage be very happy  and full of many precious blessings from you.

We thank you for the gift of the food and drinks we will be taking at the reception. Grant that it will give us health and strength for our bodies so  we can serve you better.

While we enjoy the food, we pray that we will be inspired by our fellowship with our family and friends, and with you.

Lord, many people have been involved in the arrangements for the occasion. We ask that you bless each one of them. Bless those who prepared the food and those who will serve it to us.

Heavenly father, we acknowledge your grace  in providing for us. We pray that you also remember those who have little. We pray for the sustenance of the hungry, the thirsty and the lonely.

Lord, we also know that it is even more  important for us to receive the food of faith.  Bless each one of us with the fruits of the spirit so that we can live our lives the way you would want us to.

We ask this through our Saviior Jesus Christ.  AMEN
