Child of God
Will you His servant be?
Will you seek to salve the darkness of the night?
Will you sing His name in praises
Of His love throughout the ages
Will you keep firm your purpose in His sight?

Child of God
Will you His soldier be?
Will you seek to mend the wrongs and make them right?
Will you hark the urgent call
And give to God your all
In witness of His Justice and His Might?

Child of God
Will you His angel be?
Will you spread the message of His healing
To those in pain?
Will you seek to ever win
Those souls which long for Him
And give them the salvation
Of His Name?

Child of God
Will you that witness be?
And seek to temper all you do
With God's good light
Be a friend to all that's pure
Hold fast a faith that's ever sure
Child of God
Say a prayer for this earnest pilgrim
