The Bible's messages can all be summed up by attitude. It is God's simple design that challenges man's ability to achieve.; to achieve God's attitude, God's character.

Attitude is the key. I know it sounds too simple but it is true. That is what God revealed to me lately that all Christians struggle with. Your attitude is what motivates you. Your attitude is made up of your character, your beliefs, your feelings, your past experiences, your habits, your routines and those who influence you most. All of your decisions are made through your attitude. Or you can look at it this way, all of your decisions are based on your attitude.

The Bible's messages can all be summed up by attitude. It is God's simple design that challenges man's ability to achieve. To achieve God's attitude, God's character. To be Christian is to be Christ like, to have the mind of Christ! Unity of the Spirit in alignment and agreement with God's Word brings the character and attitude of Jesus.

If you have a haute or prideful attitude then your decisions will all be influenced by your attitude. An attitude of un-forgiveness, bitterness, anger or revenge will dictate your responses and decisions. It is your attitude that tells others who you are. Your attitude shines your feelings to the world. Your moods are given away by your attitude. Your attitude is the example of being a Christian that you show others around you everyday. Your friends, family, children, co-workers and complete strangers see what you do and say. Your poor attitude can rob you of God's joy and peace that He has placed in you. It is your attitude that often gets in the way of God's blessings for you.

Road rage, bar fights, quarrels with spouses and fights at family get togethers are more examples of the poor attitudes people tend to have. Murmuring or complaining is a common bad attitude and will shut the door on God's blessings in your life. Sometimes the mixture of reasons and feelings are so strong that it can blind you from the truth and hinder your walk with the Lord. Your faith is tied to your attitude. If you have a bad attitude then you restrict your faith and God's ability to work in you, to you, with you, for you and through you!

I never thought of it this way. That my walk was not what it should be or could be because my attitude was not right between me and my God. I thought that I had a good attitude towards God when all along my attitude didn’t align with His. I wanted a relationship with God on my terms and with my stinking attitude. That was my attempt of bringing down God’s attitude to match my level of understanding and living. Instead I needed to bring up my level of attitude to God’s level, to match His character. An attitude of gratitude, an attitude of praise and worship for my God, and attitude of love and forgiveness, an attitude of faith and trust, an attitude of joy and peace, an attitude of humbleness and meekness, an attitude of contentment, an attitude of fear and reverence towards my God with an attitude of holiness and righteousness.

It all starts with an attitude of gratitude, thanking God for all things. From your very breath to the love ones in your life. Thankfulness is like opening a door to a friend who has knocked with a sincere smile and welcoming him to come in and stay. That is how to make the Holy Spirit feel at home in you! Habitation not visitation of the Holy Spirit because you now have an attitude that matches His!

My name is Steve and I was born and raised in a good Christian home in Phoenix Arizona. In 2004 God spoke to me to let me know that He would start sharing things with me that I would share with others. Little did I know how powerful and meaningful those things would be! Thank you Lord!!
