Hungry for the Truth

Hungry Chicks

"Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true." Acts 17:11 N.I.V)

Evaluate your approach on Scripture. Do you study the Bible in order to know the truth about God and get fresh concepts on how you should live your life, or do you read the scriptures to confirm your traditions and what you already believe? Are you eager and ready to be convinced without any prejudice?

Be like the Berean Jews, examine the Scriptures with a questioning mind, and you will see that they are true.

“Even if you think you're doing well and have it all figured out, there is a voice you will always inevitably hear at some point which nags at you and says "but wait..." Don't ever dismiss it, listen to what it has to say. Life will never be close enough to perfect, and listening to that voice means stepping outside of yourself and considering your own wrongdoings and flaws.” ― Ashly Lorenzana
