What has God promised you in His word or laid in your heart that is yet to be fulfilled? Do you wonder whether God will still do what He said He would do for you? I have good news for you - God is faithful to keep all His promises to you now and forever more.

As my spiritual mother, Pastor Faith Oyedepo would say, God is too faithful to fail. No matter what the situation may be God will never fail. His faithfulness is forevermore. He has all it takes to fulfil ALL promises.

10 REASONS TO TRUST THE FAITHFULNESS OF GOD

1. He is God not man

Numbers 23:19a (KJV) says, "God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent..." Man does not always have full control of his circumstances to keep his words all the time but God does

2. He is a covenant keeping God

Psalm 89:34 (KJV) says, "My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips." God respects covenants and His words (scriptures) are His covenants with man. God's own part of the covenant is always constant and fulfilled. It is man's own part that is always changing. God is the same yesterday, today and forever.

3. What He says He means

Numbers 23:19b (KJV) says, "...hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?." Also Isaiah 55:11 says, "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." God does not play with His promises. If He said it then consider it done. God is faithful.

4. Nothing is difficult or hard for Him

Jeremiah 32:27 (KJV) says, "Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?" No matter what your case or situation may be God can and will handle it if you trust and allow Him to take over the case.

5. He will never forget His child

Isaiah 49:15 (KJV) says, "Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee." Though God has the whole world to attend to, unlike man, He will never fail to remember you and your desire as an individual. Everyone is important to Him and that includes you.

6. He will never forsake His child

Hebrews 13:5 says, "Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." Men may forsake or abandon you, especially when things are not going fine with you, but not God. When you trust the faithfulness of God, you will see Him manifest on your behalf.

7. He has a record of keeping His words

1 Kings 8:56 (KJV) says, "Blessed be the LORD that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant." God's yes is yes. He is trustworthy, dependable and reliable. God is faithful.

8. He is the Alpha and Omega

Revelations 22:13 (KJV) says, "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last." You can trust the faithfulness of God because He knows the end from the beginning. God's word for that situation is the best because He already knows the end of that situation if you obey His word and when you don't.

9. Faithfulness is God's nature

Galatians 5:22 (AMP) says, "But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness," The faithfulness of God is sure and certain. God can't help being faithful because it is His nature.

10. He cannot deny Himself

2 Timothy 2:13 (AMP) says, "If we are faithless [do not believe and are untrue to Him], He remains true (faithful to His Word and His righteous character), for He cannot deny Himself." For His name sake, He will show Himself faithful. God will not because of the actions of men deny Himself as a faithful God.

In conclusion, God is faithful now and forever more to fulfil His word in your life. There is nothing impossible with God. With men it may be impossible but with God all things are possible, Matthew 19:26. Therefore, trust in the faithfulness of God and you will see His glory upon your life.
